The tragedy is the door nobody knocks on. The people inside don't even know they're out there. Isolation freezes you before scarcity does. Which window are you standing outside of?

Upright, the lack you feel — money, recognition, belonging — looms bigger than it is. From outside it looks like a cliff; inside, a seat remains. The worst move is knocking on no door at all. Start listing who you could actually ask. Reversed, the hardest stretch has passed, and small help is starting to arrive. Let it in instead of pushing it away — recovery always feels awkward at first. But if a past rejection still stings, the story changes. You don't need more courage. You need a different door. Stop knocking on the same one.
